Mini Moby Dick Marathon

You’re cordially invited to join students, faculty and staff for a second installment of our Mini-Moby Dick marathon. If you’re experiencing a “damp drizzly November in your soul” (or in this case, February), if you’ve always (or sort of) wanted to read Moby Dick, but felt a little overwhelmed by it, if you’d like to think about what happens when an obsessive, angry guy captains a ship, or if you’d like to slow down, detach from screens, and immerse yourself in some poetry, join us and chase the White Whale.

We’ve been reading the novel in short sessions and we’re through chapter 9. We’ll meet in the Drescher Community room at the Chapel. We’ll begin at 1pm on Feb. 28th with Chapter 10 and we’ll end at 4pm. You can sign up to read a section, or just sit and listen, and you can come go as you please.
