Out of Frame

Inspired by the vision of Jalynn Guido ’27, this cinéma vérité documentary follows a group of dance minors as they prepare a Black History Month concert while confronting the lack of diversity in the dance world. Featuring the voices and perspectives of three visiting artists in ballet, tap and hip hop, along with Adjunct Professor and Dance Minor Coordinator Ruth Arena, the film captures an honest look at representation, access and the future of dance.
