So, it’s your first time on campus and you’re wondering where you can relax, study, or grab some good food? Don’t worry — take a seat, relax, and leave it to Legende McGrath ’26 to show you your go-to campus hotspots!

Let's Get Started!

Corcoran Lounge

Located next to the Den upstairs and just across from the Student Development offices, Corcoran Lounge serves as the perfect getaway between classes. You’ll find cozy lounge chairs you can practically sink into — ideal for casual hangs or decompressing after a long lecture. If you're more in the mood for entertainment, the pool and foosball tables are open to all students and make for the perfect quick study break. It’s a great mix of fun and productivity all in one space.

The Library

Stretching across two floors and home to thousands of books, journals, films, and study resources, the library is the academic heart of campus. The first floor allows for conversation, group work, and easy access to the Student Success Center and QRC (Quantitative Reasoning Center). The second floor is a designated quiet zone — perfect for focused study sessions. Whether you need a marathon research day or just a desk to finish homework, the library has your back.

Keenan Center

Innovation and entrepreneurship live here! The Keenan Center gives students the tools to turn ideas into reality — from 3D printers and laser cutters to a fully equipped podcast studio and business startup support. If you dream big, this is where you start.

Barb's Bistro

Named after Barb Karper — AVP of the Grace Center for Community and Faith and Le Moyne’s longest-serving employee — Barb’s Bistro is a gem just a short walk off campus. Powered by Salt City Coffee (a local Syracuse favorite!), there are awesome drinks to choose from: fresh brews, specialty lattes, and fruity refreshers… plus a delicious selection of pastries and sandwiches. It’s the go-to brunch spot when campus dining just isn’t hitting.

The Den

Located on the first floor of Grewen Hall, The Den offers a great dining alternative. With smoothies, burgers, pizzas, subs, self-serve kiosks, and even boba, you’ll definitely find something to love. Use Swipe+, Splash Cash, credit/debit, or cash — whatever’s easiest. Even if you're not grabbing food, there’s plenty of seating for studying, group meetings, or late-night hangs.

Kafé Nuvo

Right next to The Den, Kafé Nuvo is another great spot for breakfast or a quick caffeine fix. Through its Starbucks partnership, you can grab your favorite coffees, teas, and refresher beverages — plus a variety of pastries and breakfast sandwiches to start your day strong.

McGill Terrace

Completed in Summer 2025, McGill Terrace brings cozy outdoor vibes to campus. Yes, Syracuse winters can be brutal — but the firepit, controlled with a quick switch, keeps things warm and inviting. It’s a prime place to chill between classes, enjoy some fresh air, or watch the sunset behind the chapel.

Curtis Terrace

Located beside Reilly Hall, Curtis Terrace is a simple yet peaceful spot to relax, read, or get some last-minute studying in before your next class. With plenty of tables, chairs, and green space, it’s a favorite when the weather cooperates.
