We welcomed Michael T. Rizzi, Ph.D., director of student affairs at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine, to The Heights to explore the shared mission-centered heritage of the nation’s 27 Jesuit colleges and universities. His talk traced the growth of American Jesuit higher education from its early urban foundations to institutions across the country. He examined how Jesuit education has adapted over time — and how Le Moyne has both shaped and been shaped by this enduring tradition — while inviting reflection on where Jesuit higher education is headed next.

Created by Jalynn Guido ’26 — choreographer, dancer, and creator— the performance highlighted why diversity in dance matters and how meaningful it is when artists are free to express themselves.
We’re loving getting to know our Future Phins in the Class of 2030! There are still plenty of opportunities to join us at an accepted student event.
