Snapshots from the Month

The McGill Terrace and Gateway is taking shape. When complete, the new space will feature a terrace area outside of James Commons in the Campus Center with a patio, seating, a covered pavilion and fireplace. New walkways and landscaping are also being installed to round out the upgrade.

We welcomed students from Boston College High School and St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia to The Heights (and the Syracuse area) to learn more about Le Moyne and volunteer with Andrew Lunetta ’12, founder of A Tiny Home for Good, which builds quality homes on vacant lots or renovates properties in the city of Syracuse for those facing homelessness.

Filming magic was happening on The Heights this month as we welcomed American High’s latest project. (and we were ready for our closeup!)

A spectacular view looking out over the Curtis Terrace thanks to Vincent Hevern, S.J.

Scenes from the 2025 International Urban Wildlife Conference in Atlanta, GA where Allison ’25 and Lucia ’25 presented their undergraduate research projects on the international stage with Jason Luscier, Ph.D. cheering them on.
