Le Moyne Selects M&T Bank as the First Madden Corporate Partner; Employees Will Receive 20% Tuition Reduction
Starting with the Spring 2026 semester, eligible M&T Bank employees who enroll in two nationally recognized graduate programs within the Madden College of Business and Economics – Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Information Systems – will receive a 20% tuition reduction thanks to the newly created Madden Corporate Partnership Program (MCPP).
M&T Bank, with nearly 400 employees working in the Central New York region, is the first company to partner with Le Moyne through the MCPP. The Le Moyne-M&T connection is strong, with more than 30 alumni going on to careers with the bank.
“Recognizing their strong presence in this region, we approached Le Moyne about becoming a corporate partner for these graduate programs in the Madden College of Business and Economics,” said Steve Gorczynski, M&T Bank Regional President for Central New York. “As a 1990 graduate, I know firsthand the value of a Le Moyne education and the distinction that comes from earning a degree from the College.”
Among the benefits of enrolling in Madden graduate programs:
- Small classes taught by industry leaders and experts,
- Options for in-person, online and hybrid coursework throughout the program,
- The ability to stack applicable employer tuition benefits on top of the 20% reduction, and
- Eight-week course modules (for the MBA program) to expedite completion.
“We are thrilled that M&T Bank has signed on to the MCPP and we invite other companies to join them,” said Tim Lee, vice president for enrollment management and marketing. “Le Moyne College has a rich history of training talented business leaders who share our commitment to the growth and development in the Central New York region.”
To qualify and maintain membership, companies must:
- Have more than 10 full-time employee and show a demonstrated commitment to Le Moyne College. There is no minimum number of employees required to enroll to receive the reduced tuition rate.
- Hold a clear commitment to the Central New York region and its future development.
- Regularly promote the partnership with Le Moyne College to employees. Examples can include hosting Le Moyne faculty and staff at the organization to meet with prospective students, emailing program materials to employee listserv and/or scheduling virtual information sessions for employees to express interest and learn more about the partnership.
- Serve as points of contact for the Madden College of Business and Economics regarding cutting-edge and future-forward curricular matters.
Applicants who are admitted to the MBA or MSIS program at Le Moyne College will be automatically screened for their eligibility during the admission process. Should an applicant work at an official Madden Corporate Partner, they will be notified in their admission letter that this award will be applied to their bill.
Students will be required to supply a simple employment verification form each term to receive the reduced tuition rate. Employment must be maintained at an approved Madden Corporate Partner to continue receiving the tuition reduction.
