From May 20 to 27, 10 Le Moyne students took part in a pilgrimage on the Camino Ignaciano following the footsteps of St. Ignatius; they are shown here in Montserrat along with Purcell Dean Meega Wells and Donald Mardari, S.J.  The trip is part of the AMDG Program, designed to promote the renewal and expansion of faith practices for college students, high school students and parishioners through a year-long immersion in faith exploration and service through Jesuit spirituality.

In addition to programming that is completed at Le Moyne, students also make three off-campus trips, one to Boston College, a second to a Jesuit retreat house and the Camino Ignatiana in Spain (Bilbao to Barcelona) pilgrimage.

The second AMDG cohort of Le Moyne students has begun work on the program. Funded by a $10 million grant through Lilly Endowment’s National Youth and Young Adult Initiative on Faith and Service and operated through Boston College, the program is intended to energize the personal and communal religious practices of youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 29.
