Your First Days on The Heights
Handling Move-In Day with Ease
"I still remember the excitement and nerves of my first day here. Le Moyne quickly became my home away from home, and I hope it will do the same for you. Remember, you are not alone on this journey. Reach out to others, offer support, and don't be afraid to ask for it in return. 'Dolphins don’t let Dolphins swim alone.'"
Making Campus Feel Like Home
"Don’t be afraid to reach out and make new friends, especially in the beginning. It could be someone during orientation, class, from a club, or even in your dorm. Try and get to know as many people as possible because I guarantee you’ll recognize familiar faces everywhere you go. Everyone is looking for a welcoming friend, so be that person to step up in meeting new people because you never know if they could be a life long friend in the end."
Making Your Mark on The Heights
Succeeding in the Classroom
"Be prepared to work hard, but try to find ways to enjoy your work. Find what classes interest you and reach out to professors in those fields and build relationships with them. This place is filled with so many great people and opportunities and taking advantage of them will really separate yourself when you look to move on in four (very short) years."
Finding Your People
"Find your people - the ones you will study and chill with - but be open to getting to know everyone. The friendships you'll create here will feel like magic, and years/decades after you graduate, you’ll remember why I say that. The Phamily runs deep and if there's one thing you'll see, is that in this community, no dolphin ever swims alone."
Discovering Your Passion & Calling
"Be yourself, and be it loudly. At Le Moyne, everyone's voice is heard. Take advantage of being a part of a collegiate and professional community that is empathetic and tolerant toward the entire student body and staff."

The four years at spent at Le Moyne were some of the best years of my life. I made incredible friends in my first few days—and kept meeting and making friends for four years. I laughed harder that I ever thought I could; I spent countless all-nighters, working harder than I ever thought I could. Within the walls of this campus, I hope you find joy, fun, rigor, and energy. I hope that your four years are as formative as mine were. Enjoy the ride.”
