Shadrach LaRode Selected as Graduate Commencement Speaker

Shadrach Antonio Andrew LaRode ’23, who will receive a Master of Business Administration, marketing at the graduate commencement on Friday, May 16, will be the student speaker at the ceremony.

A 2023 Le Moyne graduate with a BA in communications and minor in marketing, Shadrach has experience in a number of marketing and communications-based jobs, including being a social media coordinator at Argus Community Inc. and a marketing intern for ERIE 21. He has also worked in various customer service jobs ranging from Walgreens, Home Depot, Price Chopper and Burger King. While working on his MBA, he served as a marketing and communications intern for Our Glass Consulting and as a graduate assistant for the Madden College of Business and Economics.

Upon graduation, Shadrach plans to move to Detroit, Mich., where he has accepted a position with Olympia Development of Michigan as a parking operations supervisor. His commencement address will focus on “life’s journey.”
