    The Madden School of Business, ranked #18 by U.S. News and World Report for small, private business schools, is one of fewer than 5% of the world's business schools having earned the AACSB distinction. Madden educates with, and for, excellence through a carefully constructed curriculum for the advanced study in the following programs:

    • MBA
    • 150-hour MBA Accounting Program - For Le Moyne College students only
    • Master of Science, Information Systems
    • 150-hour MSIS Accounting Program - For Le Moyne College students only
    • Master of Science, Taxation (New for Fall 2017!)

    The programs provide:

    Flexibility:  Full-time and part-time options with a combination of campus-based, online and hybrid courses. 
    Personal Touch: Well-grounded in the Jesuit ideal of "cura personalis" or "care of the whole person" while providing a strong academic foundation for lifelong success.
    Global Perspective: Shares connections with corporations, entrepreneurial businesses and partner institutions across the world in India, China, Spain, Scotland, Brazil, to name a few.

    Admission Criteria

    Applications are reviewed by the Madden Graduate Admission Committee and admission is offered based on evidence of an applicant’s past academic success and abilities for future achievement, leadership qualities, and professional and personal goals for pursing the program.

    Applicants will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

    • An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Those who do not meet the GPA requirement may be admitted on a non-matriculated basis and can take two foundation courses in consultation with the program director. Full admission will be granted upon successful completion of the two courses.
    • Relevant work experience, examples of professional achievement or other information that might be used to assess personal qualities and ability to successfully complete graduate study.
    • Quality recommendations attesting to the applicant’s academic ability, leadership potential and ability to complete the program.
    • An acceptable undergraduate GPA and a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score determined by using the following formula:
      (GPA X 200) + GMAT score = greater than or equal to 1050.
    • GMAT and GRE scores must be taken within the last 5 years.
    • The GMAT/GRE requirement will be waived for applicants who:
    • Hold a terminal degree such as a JD, MD, DO, PhD, EdD, PharmD, or DDS, -OR-
    • Hold a master's level degree and/or professional certification (i.e., CPA, CFA, CMA CIA or CFP) and at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA, -OR-
    • Achieve a satisfactory score on a graduate entrance exam other than the GMAT or GRE, such as the MCAT or LSAT, within the last five years.

    Non-Degree Option
    While completing the application process, up to two courses (six credits) can be taken as a non-degree student.
