Le Moyne Named One of Top 384 Colleges in the U.S. by Princeton Review

For the sixth consecutive year, Le Moyne has been ranked by The Princeton Review as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to “The Best 384 Colleges,” the 2019 college guide that came out on Aug. 7.

In achieving the national ranking, Le Moyne joins the ranks of some of the most elite institutions in the U.S. Only the top 15 percent of America's 2,500 four-year colleges are listed in the 2019 edition of the book, which includes detailed profiles of each college along with ratings for each school.

The profile touched on a number of aspects of attending Le Moyne; excerpts  include:

    ● "Classes are 'intellectually challenging,' the honors program is 'very worthwhile,' and the majority of professors really 'try to bring the material to life.' "
●"Life in Syracuse 'offers so many opportunities,' and students revel in their four years in a 'perfect community - small generous, and service oriented.' "
●"...there are always programs going on at night, such as a snow-tubing trip, bowling trip, and an on-campus Pinterest Live! Event... in addition to Trivia Night at the on-campus pub, of course!"

In addition to the profile listing, Le Moyne also was included one two academic listings that appear in the publication - Great Schools for Accounting Majors and Great Schools for Biology Majors.

The rankings are based on The Princeton Review's survey of students at colleges and universities across the nation. For those 382 institutions who made the national list, approximately 138,000 students (about 359 per campus on average) completed an 80 question survey about their school's academics, administration, student body and themselves.

Founded in 1981, The Princeton Review is an educational services company known for its test-prep courses, university admission services, and its annual college, business, and law school rankings.
