    DolphinsWork (formerly Purple Briefcase)

DolphinsWork is an innovative solution to help students stand out in the very competitive job market and recruitment world. Meeting the increased expectations of delivering a strong career path for students starts with putting the right systems and solutions in place at Le Moyne College.

Through DolphinsWork, students can access internship and job postings, learn about career-related events on campus, and get tips about a variety of career topics such as resumes, interviewing, etc.

To get started visit DolphinsWork and log in with your Le Moyne username and password.

The Job Shadow program pairs students with host professionals in the greater Syracuse area for one day of intensive and rewarding career exploration.  The student shadow will visit the host’s workplace, discuss his/her career path and job responsibilities, and generally observe the host during a typical workday. Alumni volunteers and students who are matched with each other will be notified.

Students get the chance to sharpen their career focus, gain industry contacts, and enhance their confidence in their professional skills.  Stay tuned for application information!

When the time comes to look for a job, nothing is more valuable than experience. Last year more than 200 students honed their skills and gained a sneak peak at their professional lives by completing internships around the country.

Le Moyne student interns have worked for a variety of prestigious companies and organizations, including ABC, Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc., Bank of NY Mellon, ESPN, Habitat for Humanity, JP Morgan Chase and Lockheed Martin. The staff in the Office of Career Advising and Development helps to connect students to these internship opportunities. Learn More

    On Campus Interviews

We host employers on campus year round and welcome you to our office to interview our students. All Career Advising and Development on-campus interviews begin at 9:00 a.m. and end no later than 4:00 p.m. We ask that you advise us of your requested/intended interview date at least three weeks in advance. Provided we have available space, no conflicting campus events and ample time to connect with students to schedule their interview attendance, we do accept last minute reservations. All on-campus interviews take place in the Career Advising and Development office located in Reilly Hall, 342, 1419 Salt Springs Road, Syracuse, NY 13214. To schedule a day on campus, please email careers@lemoyne.edu

    Information Sessions

Information sessions are a terrific venue to network, have students become familiar with your organization and obtain resumes from Le Moyne College students on campus.  We ask that should you wish to host an information session on campus, please advise us of your request at least three weeks in advance.

In addition, our office must have ordered the room and already been approved for the space, there can be no conflicting major campus events and we must have ample time to market your session to the students. Career Advising and Development reserves the room, catering and any AV equipment required. Catering needs are provided through Sodexo and employers are billed directly. There is no AV charge, although advance notice is required when reservation for space is requested.

To request space for an information session, please email careers@lemoyne.edu

During the school year, we hold information sessions on campus to give our students a venue to network, become familiar with organizations and provide their resumes to prospective employers. Also, throughout the year we welcome organizations to campus to interview our students for prospective positions here in Syracuse and across the world.
