    Mary Schad '14, M.S.Ed. '16, Assistant Director for Student Success
    Mary Schad

    A proud Le Moyne alumna and Syracuse, N.Y. native, Mary received her B.A. in Communications and English in 2014 and a M.S. in Education with a Higher Education Leadership Certificate in 2016. Mary has served at Le Moyne since 2014 in various capacities, and works primarily with academic advising, retention and persistence, new student orientation, and tutoring and academic support programs.  

    Pam Chrysler works in the Student Success Center primarily with academic advising, retention and persistence. She also serves as an academic advisor to undeclared major students.

    Ben DiYenno

    Ben DiYenno works in the Student Success Center focusing on social fit and peer education and is also an Area Director in the Office of Campus Life & Leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Le Moyne College and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University. He is also currently working on his Master of Business Administration degree from Le Moyne College. A native of the Philadelphia area, Ben loves Philadelphia sports teams and is always ready for a good cheesesteak. He truly believes that there is something on campus for everyone to get involved in, so reach out to him if you haven’t found it yet!  

    Duane Melzer

    Duane came to Le Moyne from Fairfield University in 2010 where he taught music and was an administrator in student services for many years. He is a graduate of Charter Oak State College, Fairfield University, and Boston University. 

    Here at Le Moyne he oversees transfer student orientation, Tau Sigma Honor Society, and the Commuter Student Association. He also serves as an academic advisor to undeclared major students and students preparing to apply to the nursing program.

    After growing up and living in Milford, Connecticut, he has adjusted well to life inland in Manlius, NY with his wife and daughters.

    Beth Scanlon

    Beth Scanlon came to the Student Success Center after working for many years in the LMC Campus Ministry Office.  Beth is a proud Le Moyne alumna with a degree in Sociology from Le Moyne and Social Work from Syracuse University.  Her work in the Success Center is one that involves supporting students as they discern their future.  She lives on campus as a Chaplain in St. Mary’s Hall.  Beth is one of eleven children from Oswego, NY and enjoys spending time with her very large extended family.  Accompaniment or walking along with students is something that Beth is passionate about.
