Think Deeply About Who You Want To Be

During his time at Le Moyne, Phil Hoffman '21 was involved throughout campus in Math Club, Ultimate Frisbee, BASIC, Maker Zone, the Honors Program, Tutoring Center, Library Services Desk, and Campus Ministry, as well as studying abroad in Scotland.

Upon graduating, Phil will be doing a year of service with JVC in Camden NJ. He appreciated the introspective aspects of the Manresa program. “I liked Manresa mainly due to the connections I was able to build with other members of my group and the exercises of self reflection through freewriting. It allowed me to get my thoughts and ideas out onto the page and then discuss them with my group, and it was a great way to get deeper into what I was doing and get more comfortable sharing that with others. I think it was a good way to really be forced to consider yourself and start thinking more deeply about who you want to be as well as giving you the tools to do that.”
