Eric Schultz is a senior adviser to former President BarackObama. During Obama’s years in the White House, Schultz was principal deputy press secretary and special assistantt o the president. Characterized by Politico as “the strategistWhite House officials turn to in a crisis to handle communications,” Schultz was communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and was national press secretary for John Edwards’ presidential campaign in 2008. He is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt high school and Washington University of St. Louis.

This conversation will take the form of a town meeting, with moderators Thomas Bennett, retired social studies teacher from Jamesville-DeWitt High School, and John Langdon ’67, Ph.D., professor of history, posing questions for Schultz and providing plenty of opportunity for questions from and dialogue with the audience..
