    "Have a Five-Year Plan" – And Other Lies You Should Forget

    From starting his own company at the age of 14 to stocking shelves at a drug store (in that order), Derek Snyder ’05 has learned that life is best when it doesn’t follow a predetermined path. From nearly a decade at Microsoft to his more recent experience as a startup executive and serial entrepreneur, Derek will share some of the key “a-ha moments” that upended what he thought he knew about the "right" way to drive his life and career.
