  • Your Voice is Our Voice

As a Jesuit, Catholic institution, Le Moyne College is committed to creating an environment that is characterized by openness, fairness and equal access for all students, staff, administrators and faculty. Our goal is to foster a welcoming and inclusive campus that is grounded in mutual respect, nurtured by dialogue and evidenced by a pattern of civil interaction. Creating and maintaining a community environment that respects individual needs, abilities and potential is critically important and one of the foundations of the College's educational model.

During the 2019-20 academic year, College will undertake a comprehensive climate assessment - the first-ever done at Le Moyne. Participation in this assessment will provide you with the chance to make a difference in Le Moyne College’s future, by helping to make positive, lasting changes that will strengthen our efforts to create a more inclusive campus. To ensure full transparency and to provide a more complete perspective, we have contracted with Rankin & Associates Consulting to help lead this effort. They have extensive experience, having conducted more than 190 campus climate assessment projects over the last 20 years, including assessment at 11 Jesuit institutions.

The Rankin & Associates team has already begun working with a committee of students, staff and faculty from Le Moyne College to develop and implement the assessment, which will be rolled out to the campus community in October 2019. The results will better enable us to develop both programs and policies that will increase inclusivity in areas which are shown to be challenging and enhance and replicate programs and policies in areas which are shown to be successfully meeting the needs of the community.
