In response to the COVID-19 crisis and its current and future effects on students in Syracuse, Le Moyne College’s Community Hub is partnering with Syracuse University to help recruit remote tutors. Syracuse University is working with organizations across the city to coordinate a city-wide remote tutoring program. This program offers subject area and educational technology support to K-12 and early college students across the city.
To support this program, we are asking for volunteers willing to participate in remote tutoring and educational technology support. If you’re interested in helping local students through telephone or online tutoring sessions and can commit to participating in at least one 45-minute session a week for the next few months, please complete and submit this brief volunteer form, which asks for your contact information, subject and grade-level preferences, and availability.
This program is partnering with organizations such as the Good Life Youth Foundation, the North Side Learning Center, SCSD ENL Department; Catholic Charities, and the YWCA to connect students with remote tutors. For more information contact Alice Zicari at zicariac@lemoyne.edu.
