Biology at Le Moyne
Your biology courses will cover cell and molecular biology, chemical principles and organic chemistry. Other courses may include genetics, toxicology, bioinformatics, botany, the biology of sharks and global climate systems.
Chemistry at Le Moyne
You’ll study chemical systems, principles and theories, methods of analysis and scientific thought. Other courses explore topics like drugs, forensic investigation and energy and the environment.
Biochemistry at Le Moyne
As a biochemistry major, you can focus on either the biological or the chemical aspects of the boundary between these two disciplines. You’ll also have opportunities to conduct research with faculty mentors.

Both admissions teams will evaluate candidates independently, and once accepted by both institutions, your spot in the pathway is secured. As long as you maintain your academic standing and complete your required prerequisite coursework at Le Moyne, your transition straight into Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program after graduation is fully guaranteed.
About D’Youville’s Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine
After completing the DO program, students are prepared to advance and serve in a wide array of residency training settings, choosing from more than 40 specialties. Options range from primary care (family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics) to specialty fields like emergency medicine, surgery, psychiatry, and obstetrics and gynaecology.
