Next step? Orientation! Get ready for your first rite of passage as a Dolphin – Le Moyne’s first-year orientation program, Heading to the Heights.

Important dates on your road to the Heights

Here’s a guide to important deadlines. If you have any questions, contact orientation@lemoyne.edu.

  • May 15 – Deadline to complete your New Student Checklist. Confirm your major, provide your academic preferences, and sign up for Summer Welcome and Advising Week sessions.
  • July 1 –Deadline to complete important steps such as your housing application, foreign language placement, financial aid acceptance, your required health forms etc.
  • August 19 – First-year residents will check in and move into their new room. Optional sessions will be available for students and families to learn more about Le Moyne.
  • August 22-24 – Students will take part in Fall Arrival, a three-day in person orientation program required of all new first-year students.
  • August 24 – Students will attend the first day of fall classes.
  • August 26 – Attend Le Moyne’s Mass of the Holy Spirit, an annual tradition celebrating the start of the academic year (optional). Mass is followed by a campus-wide picnic. Classes scheduled for 11 a.m. and 12 Noon will not be held. Classes resume at 1 p.m.

Through thoughtful programming and events, you'll meet your classmates, faculty and the Le Moyne College community who can’t wait to welcome you! Your orientation program will conclude with Fall Arrival as you prepare on campus for your first college days. More details about our orientation programs and academic advising will be shared with you this spring and summer via email and your student portal.

The Class of 2030 is on ZeeMee! Join your fellow Dolphins on the official social media channel for the Class of 2029 – ZeeMee. This exclusive group for first-year students who’ve committed to Le Moyne is an informal way to meet fellow new ‘Phins, connect with your future roommate, join live virtual social events and more!
