Le Moyne College Hosts Panel on Future of Radio
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … A distinguished panel of radio professionals and scholars will discuss the current state of broadcast radio and its much-debated future at Le Moyne College on Wed., Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Jesuit Theater (located in the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts).
“Where to Radio?” panelists will include:
• Joel Delmonico, vice president and market manager, Clear Channel Radio, Syracuse
• Joe Lee, director and general manager, WAER-FM, Syracuse
• Robert Ogles, Ph.D., Department of Communications, Purdue University
• Albert “Bud” Wertheimer, former chairman and CEO, Normal Communications and The Lincoln Group and member of the New York State Broadcaster Association’s Hall of Fame
The moderator will be Michael Streissguth, chair of the department of communication and film studies at Le Moyne.
The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Office of the President and the department of communication and film studies.
