Managing Editor of The Pueblo Chieftain to Talk at Le Moyne About the Current State of Newspaper Business
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … The long-time managing editor of The Pueblo Chieftain will speak at Le Moyne College on Wed., Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium. In his talk, “Newspapers: The Report of Our Demise is Premature,” Steve Henson intends to highlight the continuing strengths in the newspaper business, particularly in the mid-size markets.
The Pueblo Chieftain is Colorado’s oldest daily newspaper and the No. 1 newspaper in the United States in daily market penetration. Henson, who has worked as a reporter and editor at the paper since 1978, is Le Moyne’s 2010 Visiting Journalist in the department of communication and film studies.
