This state-of-the-art lab is located in Mitchell Hall and is designed so that students can collaborate on projects which promote team building and creative thinking. Students have access to survey writing and statistical analysis software which are incorporated in the classroom.
Marketing is the process of creating, communicating, and delivering offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. Marketing strategies provide the tools that identify and analyze customer needs in order to communicate value to the consumer. Marketing is a vital link between the consumer and the organization.
Students graduating with a marketing major will be prepared for broad and promising career options such as advertising and promotion management, business-to-business marketing, consumer marketing management, marketing research, new product development, retailing and wholesaling, sales management, sports marketing, or transportation and logistics.

This club’s purpose is to stimulate interest in, to foster a better understanding of, and to encourage sound, ethical practices in marketing. Both an academic and a social organization, the club provides a transition between the classroom and the practicing profession. Speakers are invited to the campus from commerce and industry to present and discuss current marketing techniques. A monthly newsletter is published and marketing projects and consultations are undertaken involving local profit and nonprofit organizations
