Graduate Nursing at the Purcell School of Professional Studies
It is a great time to think about advancing your career in Nursing. While there are political, economic, and social challenges influencing healthcare, the market demands for highly skilled nurses with advanced education have never been greater.
What can Graduate Nursing at Le Moyne offer you? We’ll know you by name. We accept a select number of students into each program so you are never just a number. You'll thrive in our traditional classroom settings with smaller class sizes, real-time face to face encounters, and professors who enjoy teaching
and mentoring. We balance theory with practice for both our students and faculty! Graduate faculty are all practice experienced and we maintain our practice roles as Educators, Administrators, and Nurse Practitioners, so that we are current, competent, and credible. Outside of the classroom, students benefit from immersive preceptorships in a variety of settings with diverse patient populations.
What can you offer Graduate Nursing at Le Moyne?
We are interested in students, from a variety of backgrounds, who are well rounded with strong academic, personal, and clinical skill sets. We want students who can balance the rigors of grad school with their work and family responsibilities, but who are also compassionate, resilient, problem solvers. In keeping with our Jesuit tradition, we want nurses who care about the whole person, who want to better themselves, and who want to better others by becoming agents for change.
