Mary Schad '14, M.S.Ed. '16, Director, Student Success Center and ERIE21 Lock 3
A proud Le Moyne alumna and Syracuse, N.Y. native, Mary received her B.A. in Communications and English in 2014 and a M.S. in Education with a Higher Education Leadership Certificate in 2016. Mary has served at Le Moyne since 2014 in various capacities, and works primarily with academic advising, retention and persistence, new student orientation, ERIE21 Lock 3, and tutoring and academic support programs.
Pam Chrysler, Student Success Coach
Pam Chrysler works in the Student Success Center primarily with academic advising, retention and persistence. She also serves as an academic advisor to undeclared major students.
Beth Scanlon '78, Student Success Coach
Beth Scanlon came to the Student Success Center after working for many years in the LMC Campus Ministry Office. Beth is a proud Le Moyne alumna with a degree in Sociology from Le Moyne and Social Work from Syracuse University. Her work in the Success Center is one that involves supporting students as they discern their future. She lives on campus as a Chaplain in St. Mary’s Hall. Beth is one of eleven children from Oswego, NY and enjoys spending time with her very large extended family. Accompaniment or walking along with students is something that Beth is passionate about
Karen Ortega, M.S.Ed.'20, Student Success Coordinator
Karen came to Le Moyne in 2015 and joined the Student Success Center in March 2020. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing from Pace University and an MBA from Chapman University. Karen is also a proud member of Le Moyne’s Class of 2020, earning a M.S. in Education with a concentration in Higher Education. Within the SSC, Karen works primarily with academic advising, retention and persistence, transfer orientation and the Tau Sigma Honor Society. In her free time, Karen enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Cameron Albrecht, ERIE21 Student Success Coach
Originally from Green City, Missouri, Cam joined the ERIE21 and Student Success teams in January of 2022. Cam graduated from Haverford College in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, as well as a minor in Spanish and concentration in Latin American and Iberian Studies. Fascinated by the inextricable link between technology and our daily lives, Cam hopes to steer students towards ethical careers in technology that align with their existing passions.
