    To apply for all the aid available through Le Moyne, incoming students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. For best consideration for financial aid, the FAFSA should be completed by Feb. 15, however, we will continue to accept completed FAFSAs until we have completed enrollment. Reminder: when submitting the FAFSA, be sure to include Le Moyne's school code, 002748.

    What's next after my FAFSA is submitted?

    After you have submitted your FAFSA, it will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Office, and then you will receive notification of your financial aid award via email. Prospective First Year students will also receive a copy of their Financial Aid award letter by mail. 

    To Receive Federal Loans

    Should your Financial Aid award letter include federal loans, you must complete the necessary forms to receive them. To receive federal loans, go to studentloans.gov and complete a Master Promissory Note and an Entrance Counseling Session.     Many families experience changes in financial circumstances during the academic year which is not taken into account on the FAFSA because the FAFSA uses the previous year’s information. Le Moyne College has the ability to review your situation and make adjustments to a student’s and/or parent’s financial information on the FAFSA. Each request is considered on a case-by-case basis. Adjustments of financial aid awards are subject to the availability of funds. To notify our office of your special circumstances please complete our online form at www.lemoyne.edu/fareview.
