Application Procedures for HEOP

Students apply for HEOP by completing their regular application for admission. If students are using the Le Moyne application, they should indicate their interest in being considered for HEOP on the application by checking the appropriate box. If using the common application, students should indicate their interest on the Le Moyne supplement under the appropriate section. It is important that students complete the HEOP income statement early to enable College officials to determine their economic eligibility for HEOP.

**2024-2025 applicants will NOT be required to submit SAT/ACT test scores to be considered for admission to the HEOP program.**

Each application is reviewed thoroughly by the Office of Admission and the HEOP staff. Students who meet the educational and economic qualifications are then required to have a personal interview. Although it is preferable that the student be interviewed while visiting campus, arrangements can be made to accommodate applicants who cannot come to Le Moyne for an interview.

Deadline Dates

First-year applications are accepted until February 1st. Students are strongly advised to complete and forward application and financial aid statements to Le Moyne College by February 15th as there are a limited number of spaces available each year and only students with all requested documents will be considered for admission.

Transfer applicants should submit completed applications by August 1st. However, it is recommended that students apply early as there are limited spaces available to transfer students.

HEOP and its activities are supported, in whole or in part, by the New York State Education Department.
