Le Moyne College Calendar

This interactive class explores the challenges of caring for someone with dementia or Alzheimer’s and utilizes a different approach to care for your loved one so you get a better outcome. This class will showcase Teepa Snow’s philosophy and care partnering techniques that will help you do Activities of Daily Living with your loved one and not do to them. The use of Teepa’s Hand-Under-Hand technique can be easily learned and used to help connect with as well as comfort a person with dementia.

This class will take place on November 5th 2019 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Library Muserlian Instructional Lab. This room is located on the second floor of the Noreen Reale Falcone Library.
