Le Moyne's ERIE21 program has been awarded substantial funding from the Syracuse City School District (SCSD). The recently signed $249,000 agreement will enable ERIE21 to continue its traditional academic and summer programming - focused on coding, robotics, engineering and innovation - for SCSD students in grades 6-12, while also expanding the program’s reach to incorporate fifth grade students and teachers into an introductory coding program. With these funds, ERIE21 will increase the total number of middle school students served annually from approximately 100 to nearly 500, with new push-in programming beginning the week of May 8.
