The Boot and Buskin Theatre Club
Boot and Buskin is the oldest theatre group on campus. Founded in 1949, Boot and Buskin has been the primary vehicle for student theatrical activity for over sixty years. Boot and Buskin productions are faculty directed and professionally designed. Participation is open to all, regardless of major or minor. There are three mainstage productions each term. A student staff of 10-12 provide management and technical support to these shows as well as for other events in the PAC. See past performances.
Major Arcana was organized in 1984 by students interested in producing their own theatrical season. All Major Arcana productions are directed and designed by students. This group typically produces two-three shows per school term as well as sponsoring an assortment of creative events and workshops. From student-authored works to contemporary classics, pretty much all genres get represented here, with an edge to the comic and modern.
The Le Moyne Student Dance Company
The Le Moyne Student Dancer Company was organized in 1995 by students seeking on-campus opportunities in dance and performance. The group presents a concert at the end of each semester, representing styles from tap, to jazz, to ballet, to modern. The Le Moyne Student Dancers also provide classes for those interested in choreography and workshops.
