Beginning this week, students, staff, and faculty can check availability and book any of the four group study rooms in the Library themselves.  On the "About" tab on the Library website, you will see a link to the newly revised Reserve a Room page, which has a section describing the study rooms.

The big change to the service is the new Library Scheduling web page, which has a calendar showing room availabilty day-by-day and hour-by-hour. Each day will list each study group with a confirmed booking will show the room and time of the reservation.

Study rooms are available for use whenever the Library is open. Study groups can book rooms for up to 3 hours a day and up to a month in advance. Please do not book a room for individual use and don't make room bookings for times you are unable to attend.

When you book a room, you will receive an email confirming your booking and providing you with a link to cancel your reservation if you study group decides not to meet.

Rooms do not have to be booked in advance -- in which case they may be used on a first-come, first-served basis. To be fair to people already using the space, you must book rooms at least 2 hours in advance of when you need them.
