Accounting

Degree Requirements

The Department of Accounting offers two degree programs:

1.   A four-year undergraduate program leading to the degree of B.S. in business with a major in accounting.

   Graduates from this program are eligible to sit for the C.P.A. examination in the state of New York. In addition, graduates of this program are prepared to assume positions in the private sector, not-for-profit organizations and the government.

2.   A 150-hour program leading to the degree of B.S. in professional accountancy and an M.B.A., with both degrees being conferred at the end of the fifth year.
