In the Community: Director of Arts Programming, SUNY Oswego
Miranda Traudt holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Pratt Institute and two master’s degrees form Syracuse University in Museum Studies and Art History. Traudt worked for the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, NY as Program Director before becoming the Managing Director of Point of Contact at Syracuse University. A contemporary gallery and publication series focused on Latin American verbal and visual arts, Point of Contact is supported by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Coalition of Museums and Art Center’s at Syracuse University. Traudt is responsible for managing the operations of Point of Contact, which include a contemporary art gallery, public programs in literature, new release of annual publications, and coordination of arts education programs.
Additionally, Traudt serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Onondaga Community College where she teaches art history courses in the Department of Art and Photography. Traudt is also active in many community organization including the Board of Directors of 40 Below, a committee member of the Arts and Leadership Alliance of Central NY, and a committee member of Th3 (The Third Thursday) among others.
