Adjunct Assistant Professor, Visual Arts
Jerry M. Exline received his Ph.D. from the Eastman School of Music and has served for many years as a collaborative accompanist for professional singers. Jerry is also a member of the board of directors for Civic Morning Musicals and is a member of the Bearcat Jazz Band.
In the music program, Dr. Exline is adjunct assistant professor of piano and assistant director of The Jazzuits. In the visual arts program, he teaches Global Masterpieces - A survey of World Art. His areas of expertise and interest include: 20th Century Propaganda Art; 20th Century American Realism; 20th Century American Illustration; 20th Century American Photography; the works of Johannes Vermeer; writing about art and art criticism; fundraising and grant writing for museums; and Soviet Russian Painting and Sculpture: 1930-1960.
