The Noreen Reale Falcone Library has faced unique challenges during the pandemic, as librarians and staff adapted to continue to offer as many of our services as possible remotely. Among the ways they dealt with the new reality was providing course instruction via Zoom and responded to questions via chat and email. They also recorded videos to welcome virtual "visitors" and new students, and the videos also demonstrate the many service and resources that the library offers. “As the fall 2021 semester opened, staff is back in the library in person and welcome alumni to visit.” All alumni have borrowing privileges with a Special Patron Card (learn more here) and are also able to access our online resources while in the library. The library is now able to resume Pet Partners therapy visits, in-person instruction, events and art exhibits – you can learn more about what’s going on here.
