As soon as I stepped foot on Le Moyne’s campus I felt right at home. My time at Le Moyne was perhaps the best time of my life.

The psychology faculty in particular were extremely helpful in encouraging me to explore the field of psychology and find my passion for both research and the school psychology field. These experiences included conducting research with Dr. Ward, a practicum experience shadowing a school psychologist, and attending the Eastern Psychological Association’s conferences with Psychology club.

Currently I am in my last year in Alfred University’s School Psychology doctoral program wherein I have a graduate assistantship as an Academic Consultant in AU’s Center for Academic Success working with students to manage their academic accommodations and develop their academic skills. I am also a graduate clinician in Alfred University’s family therapy program providing free family therapy to families that otherwise could not afford it. While at AU I have continued to follow my passion for research by attending conferences and conducting research on topics such as Animal Assisted Therapy and school violence. Next year I have an internship with the Farmington School District in Farmington Hills, Michigan as a School Psychology Intern. I will also be continuing my research on school violence and ways in which to make students feel safer while in school.

I know that I would not be who I was as a scholar, researcher, and overall person without the experiences and values bestowed upon me during my time as a Dolphin!
