July 11-22, 2016
Why do films make us happy? Sad? Afraid? Angry? At Le Moyne College's new summer film workshop, come explore how films use images and sound to appeal to our emotions so effectively. Those who attend will view classic contemporary films in order to figure out how the best ones "speak" to audiences. Then, using Le Moyne's state-of-the-art recording and editing equipment, participants will collaborate to create short films all set in the same "cinematic universe." At the conclusion of this exciting program, we invite family and friends to the premiere of the students' short films. (Popcorn included!)
For youth entering grades 9-12
Hours: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Check out our other summer programs in Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Strings.
